Sick Children

One of the scary things about being a parent is dealing with a sick child….I am not talking the flu, a virus, or something temporary like that. I am talking really sick. In the past two months, I have been dealing with a sick child who has nerve damage and chronic pain syndrome. I have really begun to think about all the mother(and fathers) that have to deal with a child that has a disability or disease like MS, CF, or cancer that takes 24/7 care. Between the tutors, the doctors appointments, the trips to the hospital, the sleepless nights and the countless tutors that the school sends to the house…… I can barely keep up with everything. I don’t know what I would do without the chance to support myself from home. With Women’s Dream Team, I am able to work around my daughter’s schedule and needs. Thank Goodness for some sort of stability in this crazy time!

All for One and One for All

Working from home is a wonderful way to be able to stay home either with your kids, your pets, or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the office and all the while still contribute to the household income. One thing to remember is when you are working for yourself is that you will never climb to the top by yourself. It takes all cohesiveness of the team in order for you to grow your business. If your home based business ever becomes just about you, you will fail. You have to remember that it is all about “them”, the customers. Be conscience of their needs, their feelings and how you can create a optimal experience for them. Do you follow up with them regularly? Do you train them to grow their business properly? Are you available to them when they need you?

When you work for yourself means creating an atmosphere of success. Success is a choice and an attitude. You must lead by example. The speed of the leader is the speed of the pack. You can’t expect anything of your team that you aren’t willing to do yourself.

Spring has begun and will offically begin later this month. Working from home during this time has a very different feel than working in an office. Working from home means I can see my flowers sprouting, hear the birds chirping, see the buds blooming. What a wonderful background while I work.
What does working from home during the onset of spring mean to you?
