Spring is coming early

Spring Flowers always make me smile.

I can’t believe that in New York we have spring flowers in FEBRUARY!  Mother Nature is a little confused!  The Global Climate is really playing tricks on Mother Nature.

This year I have had the luxury of tending to my flower garden (in between the rain) while it is still February due to the flexibility of working from home with Women’s Dream Team. I hope that you have had time, or will make time, to enjoy in nature’s wonder!

What is your favorite flower?

Mine are Lilacs, Gerber Daisies, Black Eyed Susan, and Hibiscus

With the fall approaching, I have chosen to take a healthy outlook on life.  I am going to get back into a regular routine with my yoga, start eating healthier, and work to reduce clutter and stress in my life.  With any goal in life it is so much easier doing this with friends.  How do you make yourself have a heathier outlook on life?

I love summer time recipes….. Today I was reading about cold soups and how interesting they are to have in the summer months. The article was talking about strawberry soup. That sounded cool and interesting.

I would love to try out some new summer time recipes.

Does anyone know of any unique and yummy recipes that are perfect for summer?

Winter Gardening

October 22nd, 2012

I live up in New York so all of my beautiful flowers and plants are slowly withering away (it will be quick and sudden as soon as we get our first frost) but I have always wondered about winter gardening down South.  What do you grow in the winter?  Are there special challenges?
